Abstract: A man grabbed a woman in what police believe was a sexually motivated assault in Lower Hutt. The 29-year-old was left shaken by the attack under the Ava railway station footbridge - near Richmond Grove, Woburn - about 1.20pm on Monday. Detective Constable Shaun Broughton said the woman was grabbed from behind by the man who tried to pull her backwards. "She struggled against the offender and eventually broke free from him." The assailant was Polynesian, of solid build, about 1.87m tall, and carrying a black or navy backpack.
