Abstract: This article discusses the management of refractory chyle leak after retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND), a surgical procedure used in the treatment of germ cell malignancy. Chyle leak, the accumulation of chyle in the peritoneal cavity, can lead to complications such as delayed wound healing and malnutrition. The article presents a case study of a patient who developed chyle leak after RPLND and outlines the treatment strategies used, including glue embolization and drainage. The authors propose a management algorithm for refractory chyle leak and provide recommendations for preventing chyle leak during RPLND. [Extracted from the article]
