Abstract: Although the 200th anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar will not be upon us until October 2005, publishers are gearing up early. A clutch of big new titles about South African President Nelson Mandela and Trafalgar will be out in hardback this autumn, creating the opportunity for paperbacks to follow in time for the bicentenary. Among biographies of Nelson, Jonathan Cape will publish the book "Nelson: A Dream of Glory," written by John Sugden, to be the first part of a two-volume autobiography. Faber is publishing the book "Nelson: Britannia's God of War," written by Andrew Lambert, the highly regarded professor of naval history at King's College, London.
