(HFG or ‘the group’) is a Korea-based financial holding company engaged in providing retail and corporate banking, securities, credit card, insurance, lease, asset management, brokerage, financial IT service, and financial research through its subsidiaries, including Hana Daetoo Securities, Hana Bank, Korea Exchange Bank, Hana SK Card, Hana Institute of Finance, Hana Life, Hana Daol Trust, Hana I&S, Hana Capital, and Hana Savings Bank. The group operates in Asia Pacific, the Americas, and Europe and Middle East. It is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea and employed 23,094 people as on December 31, 2013. The group recorded revenues of KRW6,963,080 million ($6,266.8 million) in the financial year ended December 2013 (FY2013), a decrease of 0.2% compared to FY2012. The operating profit of the group was KRW1,165,010 million ($1,048.5 million) in FY2013, a decrease of 42.3% compared to FY2012.
