Abstract: This article describes how business educators can expand their instructional toolkits by using poetry writing in their courses to develop creativity, fluent expression, and reflection skills. Information about how to introduce poetry writing to students and how to incorporate poetry from a single assignment to a longer 30-day Poetry Challenge is presented along with assignment assessment criteria.
