Abstract: | The article presents statistical data on best selling children's book in the United States. Football books are firmly on the non-fiction league table, with provisional data for the week ending August 27, 2005. Fictional character Jeremy Clarkson has a firm hold on number one spot in paperback nonfiction, with provisional sales of more than 29,000 for the second straight week. Bill Bryson's million-selling "A Short History of Nearly Everything," holds on to its place in the top 20. After the Weather Fairies and Party Fairies, it is the turn of the Jewel Fairies to make their impact on the children's chart. |
