| Abstract: | The article reports that British publisher Macmillan has won an auction for "Sunday Times" journalist Hala Jaber's book "The Flying Carpet of Baghdad," which details her time in Iraq reporting on the war. As reported, George Morley and Richard Milner bought the book from Kevin Conroy Scott, who left AP Watt in 2007 to set up his own agency Tibor Jones & Associates. Jaber was named foreign correspondent of the year at the British Press Awards in 2005 and 2006, and in 2007 co-won the Martha Gellhorn Prize for journalism. |
