| Abstract: | The article presents the case of Iowa lawyer Mike Mbanza, who received a 30-day suspension from the Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board after refusing to answer discovery questions and threatened to sue lawyers prosecuting the case. It discusses the opinion and ruling of the court that Mbanza's conduct exceeded his right to defend himself against ethics charges in a grievance commission proceeding and violated federal regulations regarding immigration law. |
