Abstract: The article analyzes the survival of blacks in the novel "Invisible Man" by Ralph Waldo Ellison. The novel tells the story of a young black American who became a member of an organization called the Brotherhood. The portrayal of the black-white relationships in the novel is described. In addition, the article discusses the novel's presentation of music as a medium to survive.
