| Abstract: | The article reports that Pollock-Krasner Foundation Inc. has awarded 148 grants to visual artists internationally for 2006-2007, which total $3,071,000. The grants are expected to support or assist the personal and professional financial needs of the individual working artists for one year. The foundation has given more than $46 million to artists in sixty-nine countries, and has enabled artists to create new work, purchase needed materials and pay for studio rent. |
