| Abstract: | The article describes the cinematography of Andrew Lesnie for the film "I Am Legend." The film shows wide shots of deserted city blocks, destroyed bridges and arterial roads blocked with abandoned vehicles. Lesnie used the Go-Mobile, a Shotmaker camera car and the Russian Arm with a gyrostabilized head mounted on a sports utility vehicle, to shoot the earthbound parts of a sequence where the devastation of the biological disaster was shown. Lesnie noted that shooting the film was all about dealing with locations. |
