| Abstract: | The article offers information on the worldwide fish collection of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), which is to be presented in a catalogue of 100,000 lot of fishes in celebration of ROM's Centennial in 2014. An overview of ichthyology is presented as well as an explanation of "lot of fishes." It is noted that ROM Ichthyology students and staff is to showcase its significant lots at the Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity in Toronto, Ontario from November 2014 to March 2015. |
