Additional facts of importance have come from researches in the summer camp field. The mass of data from case studies of psychopathic and neurotic older children has added to our understanding of both the normal and the atypical adolescent. In this book, intended primarily for students in colleges, universities, and teachers colleges and for educators of adolescents, the author has made use of material from all of the above fields. It is hoped that the book will aid in the understanding and interpretation of adolescent behavior. Much remains to be learned both from research and from controlled observation.
