The book describes and analyses the experiences of a sample of local and regional councils as they worked with their communities to prepare Long-Term Council Community Plans [LTCCPs] under the Local Government Act 2002. The authors critique the design and implementation of community strategic planning under the Act with a focus on the relationship between theory and practice.
