| Summary: | The blockbuster tale of two of the most powerful earthquakes to ever hit China. At the heart of the monstrous disaster, a mother must make a heartbreaking decision to save only one of her two children, but when the abandoned child Fang Deng miraculously survives, she must find a way to rebuild her life alone, far away from Tangshan. Over the next 30 years Tangshan and Fang Deng slowly recover from the tragedy, but when another enormous earthquake devastates the area, Fang Deng returns home to face the ruins and find her long lost family and the peace that comes with forgiveness.--Container. |
