Description
Summary:We see a variety of familiar objects that might be encountered by children. They are presented as pictures with their accompanying sounds. The pictures are in seen in close-up and priority has been given to the clarity of the sounds. The sounds include a doorbell, a car horn, opening a can of drink, sawing a log, drilling a hole, feet crunching on snow and cracking open a walnut. After the montage there is a short quiz where ten of the sounds are now played back without any pictures. This Lesson Starter provides a game for children to identify sounds. PROMPT QUESTION: How many of these sounds can you recognise without seeing the picture?
