She argues that much more research is needed, so we can understand how new computer and video technologies - based on vision and sound and offering rapid stimulation - are affecting children's brains. She wonders if the rise of the new technologies accounts for some of the rise in hyperactivity, and she raises the question of how education should harness these new technologies and use them best. |
