Description
Summary:This project explores the concept of 'Disjecta Membra' through the media form of poetry-film. The thesis considers multiple poetic retellings of the death of John the Baptist. It translates fragments of selected, historical, poetic texts related to the subject. In so doing, the poetry-film creatively explores the potential of the fragment, and its conceivable synergies as a visual, kinetic, typographical and aural poetic agent.
