Description
Summary:South Park is a lower-income neighborhood near the City of Seattle (but not within its governmental control). The majority of transportation to and from the neighborhood runs through the South Park Bridge. The bridge has been falling into disrepair for decades, and while plans for a replacement bridge were approved, funding was almost impossible to secure. In 2010, the bridge was closed without any replacement. This case follows the attempts to secure a new bridge, and the effects easy transportation can have on a community.
