Description
Summary:A fictional character, "the Bull" is a former professional football player who retired because of a concussion. He is now head sales manager at a mid-size automobile dealership. He manages his sales team in the same winner-take-all manner that his football coaches managed him. At the dealership, the Bull is known for pressing his employees for greater sales each month. Hence, the sales floor has become a high-stress workplace.Prior to going to work one morning, the Bull read about U.S. Olympics gymnast Simone Biles and her physical and mental health troubles which she called "twisties" that prevented her from competing fully and effectively at the Tokyo summer Olympics. The Bull remembered the mental illness he developed as a consequence to the concussion. Through what he read about Biles, he renewed his understanding of the relationship between mental health and effective workplace performance--especially in high-stress settings. He became determined to address the mental health concerns on the sales floor, as well as the mental illness that still plagued him.
